Tour: Reports

Information on sales, performance, and profit are important for predicting work load, improving services, improving efficiency, and much more.

The most valuable reports are shown in this part of the tour. Additional reports can be customized as needed by customer demand.


1. Reports overview.

There are two places where reports can be found, both have links on the top menubar. One is the payroll link for payroll related reports and all others are found from the reports link.

Both screens are similar and look like the page on the right.

To run a report select the start and end date, choose the report, and click the "View Reports Page" button. The selected report will be returned.

Below is a list of all reports that can currently be run.

Payroll Reports

  • Tech Loan Payments - gives a list of loan and payment information for the technician selected.
  • Tech Jobs List - compiles a list of jobs for the selected technician (or all technicians) for the given time period.
  • Pay Adjustments - view adjustments made to the pay of a selected technician.

Reports

  • Work Order Payment Summary - shows the total accounts receivable and amounts paid for all work performed.
  • Work OrderPayment Detail - shows each work order and the payments made for the work. The three types are All Payments, Reconcile, and Difference. More information is given below.
  • Return Auth Summary - expected, paid, and unpaid amounts for Return Authorizations.
  • Return Auth Missing RA Num - a report showing missing RA's with missing authorization numbers.
  • Return Auth List by date - shows all return auth's by date.
  • Tech Trouble Call Summary - summary of trouble calls broken down by provider.
  • Tech Trouble Call Detail - detailed trouble call report broken down by technician. This report also inclues information on incompleted workorders broken down by reason.

Most of the reports will be discussed here.

2. Technician loan payments.

Gives a list of loan and payment information for the technician selected. The details of the payments and loans during the period are printed on the screen.

The options to make loan payments or create a new loan can be started from this screen.

3. Technician jobs list.

Is a compilation of all jobs for a technician during the selected time period.

Links to the work order details are provided for quick access.

At the bottom of the screen is a listing of all contractor pay periods occuring within the given dates.

4. Work order payment summary and detail.

The "payments Summary" report is an accounts receivable and payments summary for each provider in the system.

The payments are broken down in three parts: work, equipment, and return authorizations. Amounts are provided individually for each in the report.

The report below is the work order payments detail listing for "All Payments".

Each work order with work performed will have an entry in this report.

The work is itemized in the left column and the equipment installed is itemized on the right.

Once payment information is uploaded to the system and matched to the specific work order, the total amount and payment details are printed on the screen. If no payment is matched then "No Payments Found" will be hilighted in pink on the screen.

The "Add to Reconcile List" link is for work that has not been credited properly by the provider. Click "Add to Reconcile List" to denote that you are actively trying to resolve the payment information with the provider. Later a list of reconciled work can be obtained as a report.

The other options for the payment detail reports are viewing the reconcile list or the difference list. The reconcile list prints only the work orders that are marked as reconcile. The difference list prints all work orders that have differences in the amount expected vs what has been paid.

5. Return authorization summary.

A summary of the return authorizations for a specific provider during the given time period.

6. Technician trouble call summary.

The technician trouble call summary report was created to monitor technician performance and to compare performance statistics with that of the providers.

This summary company wide statistics for trouble calls within the specified time ranges. There is a count and percent for each work order type and a combined listing for each provider.

7. Technician trouble call detail.

Details of the trouble calls for each individual technician are also available.

All chargeback information, incomplete and rescheduled amounts, and statistical trouble call information is presented for the specified time period.
