1. We do not employ an IT staff and your technical specifications are scary!
Please don't run away! This software was designed for ease of use and minimal intervention from programmers or technical staff after installation. We will work with you and provide you with all the details to run your system. If it still seems scary then we can contract to do it for you. Please visit the purchasing page for details.
2. Why do I need my own server?
You will need your own server whether you pay for the service through a hosting company or you host the software yourself in your office.
This software was designed so that your managers and staff can access the system from any internet connection. Using an internet hosting provider gives you the advantage of being able to use a regular web address URL from any browser on any internet computer.
A server is designed to have multiple users accessing data and pages at the same time. A server will also have special software set-up that is necessary to run our software. Check the installation page for details.
None of this is scary or hard, but it does require some thought before hand.
3. When are you going to offer hosting?
Offering hosting to many clients at the same time is a serious undertaking. A business plan for this type of service is going to be introduced within the next year. If you would like to be notified with this service is available please contact us.
4. Can I use a server on my office network?
Hosting the service in your office takes know-how when things go wrong and the ability to set up a server. If you or one of your staff memebers can accomidate for this there is no reason it cannot be hosted within your office. The standard license offered for use of this software grants you the right to install the software on one server.
5. Who will install this software?
The cost of first time installation is already included with details in the software license. We will also install updates according to the license and support contract.

1. How long is the software license?
The standard license for our software allows you or your company a lifetime of use with no extra fees.
2. Does the license include updates?
You will have access to updates and extra modules built for this system for one year after the date of signing. Bug fixes are not limited to one year. We will fix any bugs brought to our attention as soon as possible.
3. I want to write a new module to extend the system. Am I allowed?
Extention of the system is governed by the software license and should be consulted for exact details. In short, any employee of your company may modify the software as long as they agree to the non-disclosure agreement according to the license. Third parties to our contract are not allowed to modify or have access to this software in any form.
Our rates for software customization are posted. In many cases I will listen to your ideas and incorporate them into an upcoming version of the software. By supporting us with an update subscription you can have any modules or enhancements we build for other clients. Since these enhancements are driven by others in the industry most of your problems will be solved without even asking.
